30 Jul Minibus Driver and or Assistant
Royal Rover Minibus
The Royal Oldham Hospital runs a minibus service called the Royal Rover. It transports patients and visitors around the Royal Oldham Hospital Site. We operate Mon to Fri from 9am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 4.30pm. We need volunteers to drive and assist (opening doors, helping people onto the bus).
Drivers have to be MIDAS trained although that will be given to you by the Trust and have approval for category D1 on their driving licence.
You will also need to be accredited by the Trust – a process which will take a month or so.
This is a very rewarding position for a volunteer and good fun as you interact with all sorts of people.
